Unfortunately We live in a world where even some who claim to be Educated show the most signs of stupidity. There is a clear difference between a child, an adolesent, and an adult for a reason. From psychological explanations you will find that a child does not know the difference between Right and Wrong. An adolesent knows what the society says is wrong or right, but is not able to form a conviction on his or her own personal values, so they are in a state of confusion as they are still finding themselves. An adult is supposed to have built personal views and conviction.
How do you expect a child or an adolesent to be able to make life changing decisions of their own. Its child abuse to marry off a growing child, because you will b exposing that child to psychologically threatening conditions.
I don't know what else anyone has to say, about a child who won't be able to speak up when she is molested. she might not even know what molestation is. So who is to intrude in a family to save a person who doesn't even know she needs saving.
Tell Yerima that if he had functioned well in his tenure, the Society around him would have been less hostile for girls and women. He should blame himself for the situation of the girls in his city.
So Nigerians please speak for our daughters.

African Gospel Award nominee, Charles Awesome, has been revealed to have involved in a scam. The fraudulent allegation leveled on him by one of the female up and coming artistes is not palatable. The lady at the centre of it all wants us to conceal her identity; she wants to remain anonymous due to the fact that she said she doesn’t want to start her career on a bad note.
Hear her ordeal in the hand of Charles who is well known as ChurchFellow in the entertainment industry, “ It started with an advert that someone sent to me of a competition and that 10 winners of those with the best songs, would have a free video shoot. The contestants would submit their songs to his email, then the best 10 songs would be given free video shoot. So we never met one on one.
His name is Churchfellow but he was christened Charles Awesome. Apparently he shoots movies and if is head of Shockwave Studio in Nigeria. I contacted him and he told me to pay N5, 000 into his Diamond Bank Account number: 0007322304 , Account name: Charles Awesome. I paid because I thought he was real and God fearing, on a normal day I wouldn’t put my money in such gamble. I paid on the 21st of January 2013. After some months, precisely two weeks back, I got an SMS from him saying: “You have been selected to be among those that we will shoot their videos. Please kindly call 234-8136321296 to book a date for your shoot and also get other info”.
So I tried reaching him but couldn’t until some days later when he finally picked his call. We chose 10th of May to shoot due to the fact that I was writing my Exams in school. He then went further to say I am required to pay 60k for location and accommodation of the crew. I told him that I couldn’t raise such money between that time and 10th of May, and that I wasn’t told earlier that I am paying any money, and that a free video means a free video, so why do I need to pay?
Anyway I begged him to use his studio for me since it’s his, I won’t need to pay for it but he refused saying that if I can’t pay the 60k I should go and get a location myself and he would come and shoot it for me. I knew it was to punish me for not paying the 60k, but luckily I got a Studio for almost free, and I let him know about the new development. Three days before I informed him of the availability of the studio, he sent a message saying we should vote him as “Discovery of the year at the African Gospel Awards” and I did because I felt it was good for his company to try to help the under dogs.
So when I told him that the location was ready, and that we could shoot as planned the next day, he said he couldn’t shoot in Lagos!!! That he had moved his branch to Anambra State, and if I want him to come the next day with his crew to shoot the so called free video, that it would cost me much. Or else I can come to the east to shoot and I will still have to pay for the location over there. That’s when it dawn on me that it was a Scam!!! And I let him know that I knew he was a scam, and what he said next confirmed it!!!
He said and I quote: “I have shot free videos for 45 people already (in the space of two weeks?) And that if I am the only one he doesn’t shoot then, he doesn’t care!!! If he has scammed 45 people, he is capable of scamming more, so I am telling my story to put an end to his fraud, and to let the African Gospel Community, know what a fraud he is!! He doesn’t deserve a Gospel award, he is evil!
